If you are searching for the real deal Strawberry Cough that started the folklore, look no further, you just found it!
Strawberry Cough was made famous by Kyle Kushman and bred by Jeff Cavanagh and she got her name from the fact that a bag of Strawberry Cough smells just like Strawberries. We aren’t talking about a fruity sweet smell that can be interpreted as strawberries if you squint real hard and hop on one foot, nope, we are talking about the smell of actual strawberries, so much so that if you put a bag of Strawberry cough in front of a blindfolded person who does not consume and ask them to describe the smell, the responses will be “mmm, strawberries”, enough said.
Consumers can expect Sativa type effects that can be described as clear, energetic, and uplifting, with a sweet, fruity taste, and a peppery after taste.
What to expect when grown:
You can expect a heavy yield of strawberry goodness. She stretches around 2x during the pre-flower stage. During the late stages of flower the buds will need to be supported via stakes or a net, if not they will fall over due to the weight of the flowers. Strawberry Cough is a great candidate for a SCROG grow due to her stretch and ability to fill a room. She can be finicky and does not like high temperatures, temperature fluctuations, or nutrient deficiencies, she will respond by throwing out seeds, learn what she wants and you will be rewarded with strawberry sinsemilla. Growing style, nutrient type, or growing medium, does not affect how she smells once bagged up and cured, she will produce that distinct strawberry smell regardless.
